Mark Casey
With over 20 years of experience in the real estate commercial and investment brokerage field, Mark has successfully assists a wide range of investors and developers, as well as, private and public companies. He completed his first 1031 Exchange on behalf of the Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies in 1989 resulting in their $6-million medical campus in Fort Collins. Since then he has helped hundreds of investors successfully complete 1031 Exchanges, resulting in millions of dollars of deferred tax savings. With a keen-eye for value, demographic/economic trends and quality design/construction, Mark helps his clients make investment decisions, leading to superior and frequently exceptional returns.
Corporations that Mark has served include IBM, Alcoa, Motorola, Frito-Lay, Comcast, and Motion Industries. Local companies he has assisted include: natural products/foods companies such as Botancial Interests, Now&Zen, Twisted Pine Brewing and Boulder Ice Cream; technology companies such as WebMethods, Tech-X Corporation and natural health publishing companies including InnoVision Health Media.
Mark holds an MBA degree from the Colgate Darden School at the University of Virginia and a BS Degree from the University of Missouri. He is a graduate of Authentic Leadership Program at Naropa University, and he has trained extensively with Fred Kofman in the field of leadership, communication and organizational development. He is also a graduate of David Neenan's Business & You workshop .
Mark began his real estate career as a with Trammell Crow Company leasing agent in Charlotte, NC. In 1985 he was recognized as a Trammell Crow National Top Producer for his work negotiating a 390,000 square foot lease with IBM. In 1986 he joined The Neenan Company where in a variety of roles over a 12-year period, giving him a deep understanding of the design-build-development process.
Mark holds memberships in the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors and Commercial Brokers of Boulder. He is a graduate of the Leadership Fort Collins Class of 1987-88, and served on the City of Fort Collins Water Board from 1989-92.
Mark is a former U.S. Marine infantry officer, having attained the rank of Captain. While honoring national and world service, Mark is deeply committed to peaceful conflict resolution. He is a student of Marshall Rosenbergis Nonviolent Communication, The Work of Byron Katie, Shambhala Path, and Eckhart Tolle's teachings.
For relaxation he enjoys yoga, dance, hiking and personal growth workshops. Mark lives with his two teenage children in Lafayette, Colorado.

Dan Tweeton
With over 23 years of experience in construction and real estate development, Dan has successfully assisted a wide range of private developers, public companies, and government entities.
With a broad range of experience in commercial office, retail, hospitality, industrial, residential, and mixed-use projects, Dan brings valuable insight to the analysis and development of high-performance buildings. Corporations that Dan has served include AWWA, Quantum, Agilent, Storagetek, and New Belgium Brewing.
As a LEED-Accredited Professional, Dan helps companies analyze and develop investment properties with high triple-bottom-line returns. Through his affiliated company Verde LLC, he assists individuals, companies, and municipalities with the real estate development and construction management services for green buildings.
Dan holds an engineering degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska. He is a graduate of the Leadership Fort Collins Class of 2004-05 and serves on the Fort Collins Chamber Environmental Committee. He also continues his education in green building as well as self-directed IRA investments.
Dan's interests include coaching youth soccer, playing old-guy hockey, flyfishing, sailing, and biking. He lives with his wife and two children in Fort Collins, Colorado.
